Hello NDA Families and dancers,
Today was to have been a big day in the world of Nevada Dance Academy. We had planned on celebrating
our 30th year with a splashy recital and reunion of former students and teachers.
Sadly the Corona virus has upset those plans. Instead I want to inform you all that we have received word of a confirmed case of the virus in one of our students. They received test results yesterday (June 14).
This student was last present in the studio on June 11th. (Grade 1 & 2 ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, and Jazz.)
We are pleased to report the student is doing well and no longer is exhibiting symptoms.
The CDC guidelines require us to inform all who have had close contact (hugging, sharing surfaces) with the individual. We have been observing safe distancing and surface cleaning. This person will not be returning until cleared by the health department.
They recommend that a person be tested for the virus only if they are exhibiting symptoms.
We take these precautions seriously and will continue with health department directives.
At this time we intend to continue offering some in-studio classes as well as the Zoom classes.
Please monitor your children before sending them into class to prevent any further outbreaks.
