La Boutique Fantastique Recital Newsletter March 2021
This has been a challenging year for us
all. We have had a difficult time trying
to secure a performance venue. We have
decided to present the recital at the studio.
There will be challenges but we are excited to be able to present to you our very own version of the
One Act Ballet La Boutique
Fantastique! The Magical Toyshop set in France
in 1860.
Due to limited amount of seating (we can only allow
a maximum 36 people per performance)
We plan on
doing six performances. Ticket sales start this Saturday (April 3rd)
11am to 3pm at
the studio. All
tickets are $30.
We ask that you purchase tickets as soon as possible
so we can determine if more performances are necessary.
All dancers, except the Sat. Intro class and the
Primary 1 and 2 classes will dance in all six performances.
Performances schedule:
Friday June 11, Matinee 2pm and Evening
6pm (Primary 2 Ballet-Blue Team perform)
Saturday June 12, Matinee 2pm and
Evening 6pm (Intro to Dance –Purple Team perform)
Sunday June 13, Matinee 2pm and Evening 6pm (Primary 1 Ballet- Pink Team perform)
Dancers will need to be dropped off 1 hour prior
to showtime and picked up at 3:30 for the matinee and 7:30 for the evening show
please.
We understand this will be quite a commitment and will require some teamwork and coordination but we are excited to offer our students and their families a wonderful, theatrical experience.

A. hair and makeup done
B. Wearing tights and nudie leotard (available at
the studio)

to be worn outside of studio)
