Hello
all NDA family,
After 32
years of wonderful success and amazing memories both in the studio and on the
stage and surviving the burdens covid placed on the business, Nevada Dance Academy will be closing its doors
at the end of June. Our new landlords
have alternate plans for our building. After
much thought, timing seemed fitting to close the business and start phase three
of this adventure. The fact that we were voted RGJ Best of the Best in two categories; Best Dance
Studio and Best Dance School, it seems so fitting to end on a high note. It was a surprise as we did not encourage
voting. Thanks to all who voted for us.
We feel appreciated and acknowledged for our service to the community.
We are happy
to announce that we will be taking our wonderful NDA dancers and families and
be joining DANCIN! Studio with Miss
Amanda Coulson at 4786 Caughlin Parkway Ste 301.
We will be
combining most our program with her outstanding existing schedule and this will
make for even more opportunities for all our dancers. Miss Diane will be the Director of the Ballet
program and bring her advanced knowledge of the Cecchetti style of classical
ballet and 46 years of teaching credentials and experience to the program.
We are hoping
many of our alumni dancers, families and teachers will join us to celebrate our
last recital as NDA on Monday June 13th, 5pm and 7pm shows at The
Theater at Keystone Square. Tickets are $30 and are available at the studio or
on Venmo @ Nevada-Dance-Academy and will be held at will call.
NDA
will be hosting a massive clearance sale of 32 years of costumes, props,
chairs, benches artwork, furniture, piano, office supplies, cabinets, desks,
mirrors, moving mirrors, screens,
shelving and delightful knick knacks.
We
plan on having everything displayed in the studios Sat. June 18th-
28th and you can stop by anytime between noon and 5pm.
Any
dance studios or companies that want to make a personal appointment to come and
look at costumes or props, please text Miss Diane @ (775) 338-6851.
A special thanks to all our students and families for the support over the years.
