Dear NDA dancers teachers and parents.
Unfortunately Covid has made its presence known again. We have to adjust our schedule as Greg found out that he is Covid positive. Luckily he is feeling healthy with no serious symptoms but both he and Miss Diane will have to quarantine for 10 days.
We have decided after careful consideration to close the studio a week earlier than anticipated and will plan on opening for regular classes on Jan.4th. We will reschedule out Winter Showcase performance for Jan.23rd and 24th.
Coordinating classes with 5 teachers; Zooming instructions from home and students trying to Zoom classes and choreography, it would be too difficult to organize without Miss Diane being there.
Both students and teachers have finals this week and it all seems rather hectic. Plus I just heard an Amber Alert stating covid cases in Reno are rising rapidly and we are advised to stay home. I would suggest this for all our NDA families that can comply. Let us take a breath, enjoy our Christmas holiday and be refreshed for the New Year.
Your dancers have worked hard and are excited for the Winter Showcase. We will definitely still perform that and give them something to look forward to as we start 2021.
We appreciate your continued support and understanding. Our dancers and teachers safety is our first priority. Hopefully once the vaccine is available, we can go back to some kind of normalcy.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Blessed Christmas and pray for a safe, healthy and prosperous New Year!
I would love to see everyone to wish you all well and a Merry Christmas. I will hold a Zoom meeting on Monday December 21st from 4:30pm till 5:30pm if your dancer would like to connect on Zoom, so we can all see each others faces and have a chance to say "Hello".
Please know this decision is not an easy one but necessary for our continued safety. This will be in effect from Friday Dec.11th thru Jan 4th.
