Ballet Stretch and Conditioning Exercises

Hello NDA Family!

So here we are a month into the hibernation.  I hope you have taken advantage of the videos that we have posted on YouTube.  Its not the same as being in class, but hopefully they will motivate you to keep in shape for your return to dance.

Please check out the stretch and conditioning class demonstrated by Miss Petra.  It will
keep you fit!



Miss Petra also shows us some exercises designed specifically to keep our ballet bodies
in shape.



Do the best you can without risking injury to yourself or the furniture.

Studio update 3-28-20

An Update from Ms. Diane -

Hello Nevada Dance Academy students and parents!  Saturday March 28, 2020

  These are trying times to be sure.   We hope that we can all be back together again
pursuing our love of dance at the studio soon.  We hope it will be mid April but we 
will follow the city, state, and federal guidelines.  The most important thing now is for
us all to remain healthy!💓

   In the meantime we have posted a video on YouTube for the Saturday Morning 
Intro to Dance class to help them advance their skills for the recital.  



    Also there is a video directed at the Grade One class. I hope you'll find the time to work
on your dance at home.  Make sure you make some space before kicking your legs out!



   Please tell your fellow students that this site is active. We will be posting more updates as
we go forward.

    For all Cecchetti students this is an ideal time to work on your patterns and theory.

    Senior dancers we hope to be adding Phantom and Dancing in the Light videos to this
site in the near future.

    If you already have a video of a past performance of Dancing in the Light that will help
you study the patterns.   Here is a guide for your positions.
